Welcome to my web page. Creativity, imagination and freedom of expression are a few of the reasons I am drawn into the world of art, particularly to the challenging medium of watercolor.
Flowers are a natural theme for any artist with the multitude of shapes and colors compounded by the underlying shadows. I have designed several garden landscapes so it comes quite naturally for me to draw landscapes and floral arrangements on paper. I am attracted by bright, colorful, and unstructured gardens so this holds true for my paintings as well.
Being athletic myself, I like to feel movement in a painting, which makes the eye move even in what may be called “still life”. This is demonstrated in my ocean works such as “Cousteau’s Dream”.
Horses are, and will always be a major theme of my work.  It is their beauty, strength and spirit, which captivates me.  Here again, I enjoy the movement as well as the almost geometrical shape of their muscles as displayed by my piece entitled “Speed Racers”.
